“Killer”
Mystery Run
Friday 31st
August
We in our Pontiac and Simon and Logan in Simons Shelby Cobra met at Logan’s place to find his neighbour Jed and his buddy with a stunning and newly acquired 1965 Chevy Impala coupe, then a Camaro turned up so it was American cars outside Logan’s and Jed’s houses.
We then went to the Evans Bay Car Park to meet The Road Runners Club members at 6.45pm.

There was about
a dozen or more cars from the Road Runners that assembled in the car park.
This is the
lineup of the first six cars to arrive at Evans bay.
Simon met Tom
an old work mate and petrol head.
Cars were lined
up both sides of the street; a wild guess put the number of cars around eighty
more or less assembled on Oriental Parade.
It was you
usual stunning Wellington night.
Car people make
it a family affair unfortunately for this family shortly after this picture was
taken it appeared the radiator lost all its water causing the car to overheat.
We hope there was no damage to the motor of this gorgeous Ford Galaxy.
We had a course to complete and fill out a form
with specific places and things to find. However we were just happy to complete
the course by following the boys.
We arrived at the Cam County Car Club rooms.
There were stunning classics and Hot Rods in the
car park.
Logan bumped into a number of his buddies, one
owned this Dodge challenger.
The car park was full and cars were out onto the
road.
Some of the paraphernalia in the club house.
It was time to head off home and Roxy joined the
boys in the Cobra.
City lights.
A Psychedelic view of Mount Victoria
tunnel.
No we were not high on drugs just some great fun,
enjoyed the cars and caught up with a number of people.
